Hungary Visitor Visa

Primary Travel Documents

• Completed Visa Application Form: Fully filled and signed by the applicant.
• Personal Covering Letter: Original letter with travel plan. If the applicant is submitting applications of his/her family, all applications must include a copy of the covering letter.
• Flight Reservation: Confirmed round-trip flight booking with passenger names and intra-Schengen transit proof.
• Proof of Accommodation: Confirmed hotel bookings or formal accommodation proof from host covering the entire stay across Hungary and other Schengen states.
• Travel Insurance: Minimum coverage of 30,000 Euro / 50,000 USD / 50,000 CHF per person covering repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention, and emergency hospital treatment across the entire Schengen territory.
• Valid National Passport: Issued within the last 10 years and with at least 6 months validity after the scheduled return, with at least two blank pages. Handwritten passports and passports with observations regarding the bio-data front page cannot be accepted.
• Photocopy of Passport: Clear photocopy of the passport (Front & Back pages).
• Passport Size Pictures: Recent passport-size color photographs with white background (not older than 3 months), showing head and shoulders with face covering 70–80% of the image (size 35–40 mm width, not copied or scanned picture). Soft copy is required.
• Previous Passports & Visas: If any, bound together with a rubber band (not stapled), plus photocopies of previous UK, USA, and Schengen visa stickers.

Invitee Documents (Host in Hungary)

• Invitation Letter: Official signed invitation letter from host in Hungary stating relationship, purpose, duration of stay, and accommodation arrangements.
• Current Status Document: Copy of host's passport, Hungarian residence permit, or national ID / registration card.
• Host Bank Statement: Bank statement of invitee for the last 6 months with official bank stamp.
• Address Proof: Host address proof in Hungary (utility bill, tenancy agreement, or property deed).
• Occupation Proof: Host employment contract or pay slips (if available).

Proof of Financial Status (Strictly Original A4 Paper Format)

All financial documents must carry official bank stamp & signature on A4 size paper.

• Personal Bank Statement: Original personal bank statement for the last 6 months with stamp & signature from bank on format A4 paper.
• Personal Tax Documents: Personal ITR acknowledgments or tax documents for the last 3 years.

A. For Employed Applicants:

• Employer NOC: Original No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer on official company letterhead.
• Salary Slips: Official salary slips for the last 6 months.

B. For Self-Employed / Business Owners:

• Covering Letter: Covering letter printed on official company letterhead.
• Business Card: Applicant's original visiting/business card.
• Company Bank Statement: Company bank statement for the last 6 months with official stamp and signature.
• Business Registration Proof: GST Certificate, Certificate of Incorporation (COI), or Partnership deed.

C. If Travel is Sponsored:

• Sponsor ID Proof: Sponsor’s national ID proof (Passport, PAN card, or Resident Permit).
• Sponsor Financials: Updated bank statements of last 6 months and salary slips of last 6 months.
• Sponsor Tax Documents: Personal tax documents / ITR acknowledgments of the sponsor for the last 3 years.

D. For Students:

• Student Identification: Copy of valid Student ID card and official leave letter from school/college.

E. For Retired Applicants:

• Retirement Certificate: Retirement certificate or official pension approval letter.
• Pension Statements: Pension bank statements showing monthly credits for the last 6 months.
• Other Income Proof: Additional proof of income or assets (if available).
