Hungary Tourist Visa for Indian Citizens

Primary Travel Documents

• Completed Visa Application Form: Fully filled and signed by the applicant.
• Personal Covering Letter: Original letter detailing the travel plan. If the applicant is submitting applications of his/her family, all applications must include a copy of the covering letter.
• Flight Reservation: Confirmed round-trip flight booking with passenger names and intra-Schengen transit proof.
• Proof of Accommodation: Confirmed hotel bookings or tour package covering the entire stay across Hungary and other Schengen states.
• Travel Insurance: Minimum coverage of 30,000 Euro / 50,000 USD / 50,000 CHF per person covering all medical repatriation expenses, emergency hospital treatment, and urgent medical attention across the entire Schengen territory.
• Valid National Passport: Issued within the last 10 years and with at least 6 months validity after the scheduled return date, with at least two blank pages. Handwritten passports and passports with observations regarding the bio-data front page cannot be accepted.
• Photocopy of Passport: Clear photocopy of the passport (Front & Back pages).
• Passport Size Pictures: Recent passport-size color photographs with white background (not older than 3 months), showing head and shoulders with face covering 70–80% of the image (size 35–40 mm width, not scanned or photocopied). Soft copy is required.
• Previous Passports & Visas: If any, bound together with a rubber band (not stapled), plus photocopies of prior UK, USA, and Schengen visa stickers.

Proof of Financial Status (Strictly Original A4 Paper Format)

All financial documents must carry official bank stamp & signature on A4 size paper.

• Personal Bank Statement: Original statement for the last 6 months with official bank stamp and authorized signature on format A4 paper.
• Income Tax Returns: Personal ITR-V acknowledgment or tax documents for the last 3 years.

A. For Employed Applicants:

• Employer NOC: Original No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer on official company letterhead.
• Salary Slips: Official salary slips for the last 6 months.

B. For Self-Employed / Business Owners:

• Company Covering Letter: Covering letter printed on official company letterhead.
• Visiting / Business Card: Company visiting card.
• Company Bank Statement: Company bank statement for the last 6 months with official stamp and signature from bank.
• Business Registration Proof: GST registration certificate, Certificate of Incorporation (COI), or Partnership deed.

C. If Travel is Sponsored:

• Sponsor ID Proof: Sponsor’s national ID proof (Passport, PAN card, or Resident Permit).
• Sponsor Financials: Updated bank statements of last 6 months and salary slips of last 6 months.
• Sponsor Tax Documents: Personal ITR acknowledgments of the sponsor for the last 3 years.

D. For Students:

• Student Identification: Copy of valid Student ID card and formal leave / NOC letter from the school, college, or university.

E. For Retired Applicants:

• Retirement Certificate: Retirement certificate or official pension approval letter.
• Pension Statements: Bank statements showing regular pension credits for the last 6 months.
• Other Income Proof: Additional proof of income or assets (if available).
