Primary Documents
- Completed Visa Application Form: Completely filled and signed by the applicant.
- Personal Covering Letter: Original letter with detailed travel plan. If the applicant is submitting applications for family members, all applications must include a copy of the covering letter.
- Flight Reservation: Confirmed round-trip flight booking with passenger names and intra-Schengen travel proof.
- Proof of Accommodation: Confirmed hotel booking, stay voucher, or host accommodation address in Austria covering the entire stay across Austria and the Schengen territory.
- Travel Insurance: Minimum coverage of 30,000 Euro / 50,000 USD / 50,000 CHF per person. Coverage of all expenses which might arise in connection with repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention, and/or emergency hospital treatment across the entire Schengen territory.
- Valid National Passport: Issued within the last 10 years and with at least 6 months validity after scheduled return date, with at least two blank pages. Handwritten passports and passports with observations on the front bio page cannot be accepted.
- Photocopy of Passport: Clear photocopy of the passport bio pages (front & back).
- Passport Size Pictures: Recent passport-size color photograph with white background not older than 3 months, showing head and shoulders with face covering 70–80% of the image (size 35–40 mm in width, not copied or scanned). Soft copy is required.
- Previous Passport/s: If any, bound together with rubber band (not stapled), along with photocopies of previous UK, USA, and Schengen visa copies.
Financial Documents
- Personal Bank Statement: Original personal bank statement of the last 6 months with official bank stamp and signature (strictly original format A4 paper).
- Income Tax Returns: Personal ITR or tax documents for the last 3 years.

- Company bank statement of the last 6 months with stamp & signature from bank (format A4).

- NOC from the company on official company letterhead.
- Salary slips for the last 6 months.
For Retired:
- Retirement Certificate: Retirement certificate / pension approval letter.
- Pension Statements: Pension bank statements for the last 6 months.
- Other Income Proof: Other income proof (if available).
If Student:
- Student ID card and bonafide school/college certificate.
If Sponsored:
- Sponsor's national ID proof (Passport, PAN card, or Resident permit).
- Updated bank statement of sponsor for the last 6 months (stamped & signed).
- Salary slips of sponsor for the last 6 months.
- Personal tax documents / ITR of sponsor for the last 3 years.
Invitee Documents (Host Family / Friends in Austria)
- Formal Invitation Letter: Written and signed invitation letter from the host in Austria detailing relationship, visit dates, and accommodation arrangement.
- Host Legal Status Proof: Copy of host's Austrian passport, or Austrian residence permit (*Aufenthaltstitel*) and national passport.
- Host Bank Statement: Bank statement of invitee/host for the last 6 months bearing official bank stamp.
- Address Proof in Austria: Residential registration certificate (*Meldezettel*) or rental agreement in Austria.
- Occupation Proof: Host employment contract or work certificate (if available).
