Required Documents for Germany Visa for Indians
- Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.
- Visa application form completely filled in and signed by applicant.

- Personal cover letter Plain paper for employed; company letterhead for self-employed.

If you are employed
- Current Account Bank Statement of last 6 months (stamp and signature required from the bank official

- Personal ITR of last 2 years.
If you are self-employed
- Company Registration
- Current Account Bank Statement of last 6 months (stamp and signature required from the bank official)
- ITR of last 2 years & Recent 3 month pays slip.
If you are retired – Confirmation of retirement like pension book, statement etc.
If you are a student – School / College / Institute ID Card.
If you are a minor – Parental NOC on Rs. 100 stamp paper / non-accompanying parent’s NOC. / Parent’s ID proof (Passport/PAN card).
Students above 16 years old: Copy of the student college ID card and introduction letter of the School/College/University.
Children under 18 years old, not travelling with both parents: Written consent letter of the other, non-travelling parent or legal guardian, certified by public notary.
Children under 18 years old, travelling alone: Written consent letter of both parents and legal guardian, certified by public notary.
In all cases: copies of the passports of both parents (legal guardian) or PAN cards or driving license.
If you have been refused a visa by an Embassy or High Commission in the last 2 years: refusal notice or a written explanation about the reasons of refusal.
If sponsored –Sponsorship letter.
- The sponsor’s ID, such as a passport, PAN card, or residence permit, is needed for verification.
- The sponsor’s ID includes a passport, PAN card, or residency permit, serving as official proof of nationality.
- Submit a recent bank statement from the last 6 months.
- Income tax returns for the past 3 years. (For Business Visa)
- An invite from the hosting firm, outlining the trip’s objective, corporate particulars, and so onward.
- Personalized letter from Indian company on company letterhead.
Note : The photo should display the person’s face from chin to crown, including both sides. The face must occupy 70-80% of the photo, equating to a height of 32-36mm. Ensure voluminous hair is fully shown without shrinking the face size. The face must be cantered and not less than 32mm in height.
